UN ANTICO BORGO CHE RIVIVE ...

 

Benvenuti all'agriturismo la Tensa!!

Vi trovate  nel borgo della Tensa, un antico villaggio del 1600 sulle alture di Domodossola, abitato fino ai primi anni Sessanta, per poi essere abbandonato: i terreni, sui tipici terrazzamenti, furono invasi dal bosco e il borgo andò incontro ad un lento declino.

 

...ma nel 2000, cominciò la trasformazione...

L’intervento di recupero eseguito nel rispetto delle tipologie costruttive del territorio, utilizzando in prevalenza pietra e legname locali, ha riportato alla luce la Tensa in tutto il suo splendore!

Oggi la Tensa ospita 8 alloggi e un ristorante a km zero.

La Tensa is an ancient village upon Domodossola which was inhabited until the early sixties.

Since then, the buildings, deprived of the human care, went towards a progressive deterioration.

Meanwhile, the lands on the typical terraces were encroached by the forests. The recovery works of the area, done by the company Leponzia, began in the early 2000s and were completed at the end of 2009.

The intervention was performed in compliance with the construction typology of the territory using mostly local stone and timber.
